MEETING POINT
To be in the right meeting point, you first need to be in the big square called JAMAA EL FNA and then look for the post office and I'll be in front of BARID CASH of the post office, wearing a white hat and holding a sign saying: Zaim free walking tours.
There are 2 sides of the post office. The main entrance, the big door in front of Jamaa El Fna Square and a small door with a sign of BARID CASH on top, at the other side of the post office in front of a garden.
I'll be waiting on the other side of the post office, not the main entrance but in front of the main entrance of Barid Cash near the second ATM of the post office (in front of the garden) in Jamaa El Fan Square.

Ik ben een professionele reisplanner, personal shopper, en gids sinds 1996.
Ik heb een opleiding over toerisme bij het hoge internationale instituut van toerisme in Marokko en Nederlands taal in Nederland gevolgd.
Ik spreek vloeiend Arabisch, Nederlands, Engels, Frans en een basis Italiaans.
Ik ben een gids die aan u kan luisteren en begeleide bezoeken op maat kan organiseren, ik kan u helpen met reisadvies en vervoer.

09:30 of 10:00 s’ochtend bijvoorbeeld, begin van het bezoek:
– Bezoek (van buiten) van de moskee Koutoubia uit de 12e eeuw, de centrale moskee van de Almohaden .
– Lopen langs Bahia paleis is een masterwerk van de hispano-moorisch architectuur, dat was een paleis van een premier aan het einde van de 19de eeuw. Dat is een ideale plek voor photo’s liefhebbers.
– Bezoek van de broemde plein Jamaa el fna en dan de souks (verschillende ambachtswijken).
Binnen de souks ligt de medersa Ben Youssef, een universiteit uit de16de eeuw, ook een masterwerk van de islamitische kunst.
Tenslotte terug naar jullie hotel langs een andere weg van de oude stad van Marrakech.
Op deze manier zou het denk ik ook niet te veel voor de jongens zijn en tegelijkertijd zouden jullie inchaAllah een goede kijk op de medina krijgen.

Dankjewel voor de fantastische dag die je met ons doorbracht als onze gids in de mooie stad Marrakech.
We hebben genoten van de persoonlijke aandacht die je gaf, geheel afgestemd op onze wensen.
Vooral de keuze die je ons liet om wel naar monumenten en naar de gewone souks te gaan en ons niet te vermoeien met bezoeken aan winkels waar we dan allerlei producten zouden moeten kopen beviel ons zeer goed.
We vonden het ook erg prettig om gewoon van mens tot mens met je te spreken over de Marokkaanse cultuur, onze levensloop en ons geloof. We hebben veel van je geleerd en lekker gewandeld!

Geweldig rondleiding gehad door Mohamed Zaim hij praatte goed Nederlands, legde alles goed en uitgebreid uit.
Heeft ons nog meerdere dingen laten zien, welke wij zelf wilde zien buiten de rondleiding om.
Wij hebben een mooie dag gehad.

My mother and I visited Marrakech in March 2017. The city is wonderful and magical but a bit overwhelming, so we asked our riad to arrange a guide for a day to take us to the souks, monuments, and gardens. They introduced us to Mohamed who was wonderful.
He is very fluent in English (and French, Italian, and Dutch) and took us around much of the old city. He took us to what we felt were reputable shops, including a herbal/medicinal cooperative where we were able to purchase authentic organic spices and cosmetics,and also including a carpet shop where I feel like I got a good bargain on a zanafi rug.
Mohamed was very patient with us, was able to develop an itinerary based on our preferences with almost no notice and adapt it on the fly, and was very knowledgeable about
the city.
We saw parts of Marrakech we would not have seen otherwise and learned much about religion and art.
I personally dislike big tour groups, so enjoyed having this intimate tour experience.
We felt very safe with Mohamed and my only regret is that our trip was not longer.
I cannot wait to return and will contact him again to arrange some excursions outside of Marrakech.

Interesting walk with a friendly guide
I had a nice walk through the medina with a knowledgeable guide. My guide (Mohamed Zaim) spoke many languages; in my case perfectly understandable Dutch. If you want to learn lots about the culture and history of Morocco, Mohamed is your guy. No shopping or sales pitches. We had something to eat in a traditional place. All in all a good choice.

My husband and I spent our first day in Morocco touring Marrakech and the old Medina with Mohamed Zaim and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable and informative introduction to the city and the culture.
He was very punctual and organized, as well as warm and welcoming.
Mohamed took us through the more touristy areas of the Medina providing us with interesting historical and religious information but also gave us a glimpse of the local life.
I would highly recommend a tour with Mohamed, it was an experience that we will not soon forget.
